Terms & Conditions

PRODUCT

• Do note that as all products are displayed and described on a best effort basis, slight discrepancies may exist.

• Colours represented in photos are also dependent on the computer monitor's display and might differ from the actual item received. We cannot guarantee that your monitor's display of any colour will accurately reflect the colour of the product on delivery.

• Kindly note that the apparels are discouraged from machine-wash if they come with sequins, beads, pearls or accessories. All items should be hand washed or dry cleaned if necessary.

• SNIPPED cannot guarantee authenticity of any items presented on our site and any mention of any brand names are meant for reference only.

REFUND & EXCHANGE POLICY

• If your item is out-of-stock at the point of ordering, a full refund will be made to you.

• Items sold are non refundable. However in the case of a manufacturing defect, we offer store credit for your next purchase. 

• Stray threads, uneven stitching or removable dirt are not considered manufacturing defects. 

• Should you receive an item with manufacturing defect, please contact us within 7 days of receipt.

• If the defect is found to be inflicted after we have delivered the item, we will not be able to issue a refund or exchange. (e.g after washing the item or wearing the item and/or has obtained stains from elsewhere or damaged after washing with other apparels).

• SNIPPED may entertain exchange of size subjected to availability of items. 2 way postage costs to our supplier will have to be borne by you in such cases.

ORDERS

• We will only place an order with our supplier when payment is received and verified. However, there is a min order per pre-order and we reserve the right to cancel each individual orders should we not meet the min order stipulated by our supplier.
• Items are subject to availability. As there is a delay between the time when an order is placed and the time when an order is accepted by our supplier, the stock position relating to particular items may change. If an item you have ordered becomes out of stock before we accept the order we shall notify you as soon as possible via email.
• Should an item be out of stock after payment has been received, a full refund will be made should the pre-order be cancelled.

PAYMENTS

• Only UOB/DBS/POSB/OCBC/Citibank Bank Transfers or i-Banking are accepted.

• Internet-Banking transfers are highly recommended.

• However, if you’ve made an ATM transfer, please keep your transaction receipt with you until your payment has been verified.

• Paid orders cannot be changed or cancelled.

ACCEPTANCE OF YOUR ORDER

• Once payment has been verified, an email acknowledging the details of your order will be sent. This email is NOT an acceptance of your order. Completion of the contract between you and SNIPPED will only be completed when we dispatch the goods to you.

• We reserve the right not to accept your order in the event, for example, that we are unable to obtain authorization for payment, that the item ordered is out of stock or does not satisfy our quality control standards and is withdrawn or that shipping restrictions apply to a certain item(s).

• We may refuse to process a transaction for any reason or refuse service to anyone at any time at our sole discretion. We will not be liable to you or any third party by reason of our withdrawing of any merchandise from the Site whether or not that merchandise has been sold; removing; screening or editing any materials or content on the Site; refusing to process a transaction or unwinding or suspending any transaction after processing has begun.

MAILING

• Items usually take 7 days to reach Singapore after payment has been received by our supplier. After which, items will be mailed ASAP. Meet ups may be done on a scheduled basis and according to our convenience. 

• All items mailed using normal mail will be issued with a certificate of posting as a proof of postage.

• SNIPPED will not be responsible nor liable for any lost mail items, hence registered postage is highly recommended.

What is Snipped?


We specialise in cut-label apparels sourced directly from the factories. We cut out the expensive cost to designer wear ~ which explains the name "Snipped".


Who is behind Snipped?


A self-confessed shopaholic and clotheshorse; Constantly looking for a new attire for the corporate boardroom. A woman always has to look good.

Is that really a (insert designer name) dress and why are the labels cut??

We can't comment on authenticity as there are no signs of whether they are factory overruns or inspired.

Therefore, even authentic items will have their labels SNIPPED before being shipped to you. This is done to prevent infringement of the Copyrights and Trademarks Laws.

I can't fit into my dress, can I exchange for another size??


At Snipped, we work on a pre-order basis. Therefore, we may not have the item on hand for an exchange.
Should you wish for an exchange of size with our supplier, please inform us and we will work out an arrangement for a new piece to be shipped in our next order. This is also subjected to availability of the desired item.


Should the item be out of stock, Snipped will issue a store credit to be used for your next purchase. We do not entertain cash refund and we seek your kind understanding.




The item I want is out of stock, can I re-order or be put on the waiting list?


We deal directly with the factory and the minimum re-order is 50 pieces. It is not likely that we are able to do so unless there is a overwhelming request for the same design.
